Getting a medical degree can be a very long process in the US, and takes around 7 years to complete. Average tuition, for both private and public schools, including housing and fees, is around $50,000 for non-residents of the state. For residents attending a public school in the state, fees can drop $20,000 per year. US citizens are often eligible for financial aid that international students may not be. However, international students can look for scholarships in their areas of interest.
