Scholarships for high school (England)?
-
Hello everyone! I'm in the 8th grade (13 years old). I'm learning at a very good school in Romania at the moment and my averages are around 9.9/10. This summer (when I'll turn 14) I have some exams and the high school options available for me are based on the results. But, honestly, I look around and I don't feel like I have a real future in here. And not many choices either. Why I am thinking about going somewhere else (England or another country where I learn in English) 1.I am speaking English very well (and if there's anything to work on I'm willing to learn) 2.I'm talented at visual arts, I'm very interested in music too and I like combining all this with technology (for example, I've used Photoshop for a few years) 3.None of the variants available in here seem to combine all my interests and even if it was so, I doubt the system is going to be efficient and make me feel like I'm learning new things while enjoying life. At the moment, I think I'm going to school just to do something (or at least most of the times) or I just keep running blind to get... something, anything... nothing? Okay, I might be exaggerating but I simply don't see my future in here. The issues are: 1. I want to get a scholarship or something, not to pay for the high school, or anyway, not those huge fees I saw on some websites. 2. I don't have with who to stay with. And that's quite a big problem I think. I really need some advice, I have no idea who to ask for help, all I've been told until now was: "It's too early, wait until you finish high school" (but I'm afraid that it might be too late if I stay here) or "Go on!" but no one actually told me where to look for information, how things are in there and so forth. I'd be very grateful if you gave me a hand. :)

Answer:
This is pretty impossible. I also hated going to high school in my country (Greece) but I had to do it. It is very hard to move to another country even more when you are just 14 years old! And if you don't wanna spend a lot of money it is even more impossible. I think your best choice is to "survive" in your country with what you have, make the best choices you can, do your A levels and then just study in the UK. You just have to wait 4 more years. They are not too much, then you will have your whole life to live abroad. But now you're just a kid so stay with your parents in your country. That's the right thing to do.
