Architecture portfolio? HELP?

Canadian Universities for Architecture! HELP?

• Okay, So I am currently in Grade 12 and I am looking for a university and maybe a college. I am going to be completely honest about my marks in grade 12. My past math marks were terrible. But I'm still in grade 12 and taking a victory lap next year, so I have a year to increase my average. So far it's now second semester. In first semester I had Strings(95%), English 4U(60%), and Physics 4U(72%) and a spare. I know I know... my marks need to be a looot higher.. I am taking english in summer school to up my mark. In this semester I am taking Tech Design and a Tech Design Co-op. I suppose my marks will be pretty high in those courses. Next year I am going to adult school and taking Adv Functions and Calculus. I was also thinking of taking an art course just to add something to a portfolio. Yes it seems like I have a lot of things to think about and to work hard at next year. I have grade 7 and 8 RCM diplomas in piano. I am really considering going to Ryerson University for Architecture. I've read up on this university and (I think) you need at minimum of 70% in Physics, And the 2 Math course, and a minimum of 75% in a the english 4U course. My guidance councilor said that they pick 6 university courses and sum up my average. My brothers friend also told me when he applied he needed a portfolio of art, designs, and essay(s). If anyone could give me some pointers on which university I should go to? or if I should go to college cause im not smart enough? What courses I need to take? What I should put in my portfolio? What ever else I should focus on. That would help me so much! Thank you for you time :)

  In Canada you can join architecture course online and get a degree. This way you can get a degree and increase the weightage to your portfolio by joining a regular degree for another course
