How to work out Ucas Points?

How can A-Levels and exchange student in USA work together?

  • I tried talking to the company I am looking to go with but they struggled as the UK education system is so much different to the US one. I am currently in year 11 and getting my GCSEs after I want to go to college to do A-Levels in Business, Economics, Maths and IT. How can these work together, the company said I could get credit for the work I do in the USA but I A-Levels is a small amount of subjects and you also have to take exams etc. I am really confused. Or would it be best to miss a year of A-Levels and start next year, perhaps getting UCAS points for the work I do in the USA. Then if I like it over there I could look at extending the program to 2 years, and graduating, but could I get points towards my graduation if I showed them my GCSE results, this I think would be the best option. Thanks!
