How to study easily? ?

  • Oneday o told myself I'm going to spend this one night and memorize the entire drivers manual so I can study with a tiny scap of paper I abbr like crazy and was ready to take the test the next day- except I had to wait two weeks. Now I'm trying to dtudyfor intro to crim. justice exam ( failed with 54) but no matter how many times I review it I ask my self a question and I can't answer it. I studied for 2 weeks and wasn't distracted or tired or anything. How to fix that????

  • Answer:

So familiar...Sometimes if the information you are trying to remember has no relevance to you or just boring, you can take ages to remember it. I would normally try to write things down and then check myself by creating a table in Word with 3 columns: questions - correct answers - blank column. This way you can test yourself by changing the font colour of your correct answer column to white of (so you don't see the correct answers when you are testing yourself). Then enter your answers in the blank column and compare them with the correct answer column by changing colour to black to make it visible. I would do that several times until my answers are almost identical in the two columns. You know after so many years of study I still hate to memorize things that is why I decided to study something that I really enjoy or just select courses where they don't have many exams but rather essays and projects. Good luck
