Is rotary a good exchnage program?

What is a good foreign exchnage student program where YOU choose where you go?

• I'm a freshman, next year i will be a Sophomore... Is there any program where you choose where you want to go? For example, i want to go to Melbourne, Australia... Not to any other place. Also, is there a program that accepts sophomores? cause at my high school there are only senior exchange students. Thanks!!

  Most agencies ask you to pick your three preferences in countries. The earlier you apply to become an exchange student the better chances of getting your 1st choice. You do not get to pick what city you live in though. It all depends on where your host family lives. Your host family picks you based on similar interests. So when you do apply it's important to be as open and honest about yourself so you can be matched with the best family. In our program it's not based on what grade you are in. It's based on your age.
