What is a technical university?

Czech Technical University in Prague?

• Good Day, I really do need an advise of somebody who has been or heard anything about Czech Technical University in Prague-Information Technology. I cannot decide what university I should go to. Prague College that does have an IT department or Czech Technical University in Prague-Information Technology. Prague college looks modern and teachers probably speak good English since this university is being supported by Teesside Univeristy while Czech Technical University in Prague is a very old university but has a good world ranking (172) . I am just afraid that professors there might not speak a proper English. Look forward to reading any comments and suggestions!

  Two things. First and most importantly, trust your instincts in making this decision. If you already have signs Czech Technical University is not the better choice don't go there. If you do, you will always find reasons why it was the wrong decision. Second, what you learn in college really only affects your fist job or so then your work experience becomes more important. The actual difference from school to another is often very minor and depends more on what you put into your education. The exception is if a school has a very strong reputation it may open some job opportunities. But improving your English may have more value than the school itself so again, trust your instincts.
