Is it a good idea to study abroad?

I want to study abroad for a semester, and then transfer schools. Good or bad idea?

  • I already transferred after one year at a community college getting my basics done. This semester I transferred to a small, private university (my parents recommended it.) I am unhappy here, mostly because I am not getting the quality of education that I expected, and the social life sucks. I am planning on studying abroad in the Spring, but I'm not sure if I want to come back to this university in the Fall. I am majoring in International Business and I want to study abroad as much as possible, however, I cannot continue to transfer from university to university. Any suggestions? Any good schools for international business you know of?

  • Answer:

It is always a good thing to study overseas. For International business you have to be a citizen of the world, not just our section. I would check with Erasmus programs.

the only problem i really see with it is that a lot of coursework abroad doesnt always transfer back the way you want it to. figure out the schools you want to transfer to, and talk to them about their study abroad options and how they feel about the classes you would take if you went through your current university....
