So what? Im proud of my eyes. They're not super slanty but idgaf. I love being asian. I dont ever wanna be white or some shitty *** race. Asians ftw.

Perhaps it was a helpful adaptation to the deserts or snowy expanses of Siberia, e.g. a built-in limit to overexposure of harsh sunlight?

The same reason that many other people have big round eyes or blue eyes or red hair or anything like that: Genetics. Actually, a genetic mutation followed by a cultural acceptance of that mutation. For example, at some point in human history, there was a genetic mutation for blue eyes. When that occurred, this blue eye genetic mutation was viewed positively enough by the population in which it occurred that it was therefore passed on. Without being accepted and then passed on, the mutation would have died out. Same goes for eye shape.

They aren't slanted, they are called eye flaps.
