    Yes, it was. Why people think it's an "African disease" or a "gay male disease" is beyond me. It's been documented for 30 years now and has probably been around for a lot longer, yet some people (meaning ON HERE) think it's somehow a "black thing"... It isn't. And, as with other things, I think SOME people (and I hope you know of whom I speak) "edit out" things they don't like to hear...

The key word here is "documented" just because a disease is first "documented" somewhere doesn't mean it originated there. AIDS/HIV originated in Africa but wasn't "documented" until it reached developed countries such as The UK or U.S. K

Aids & HIV has it's orgins in AFRICA not Europe.The disease originated in African apes but was accidently introduced into the African population.I once read a medical book that said that Blacks had sex with apes and that was how Black Africans got Aids.I strongly doubt this and in my opinion the Black Africans got Aids by an ape bite from an open wound at a zoo or some other animal care facility.
