How do I choose the right digital camcorder?

Why do people think it's okay to look down and ban people's right to choose who they wish to choose to spend..?

• Why do people think it's okay to look down and ban people's right to choose who they wish to choose to spend..? their life with? I mean, let's forget religion for a moment and just think about it from the Government aspect of it. On what grounds does the United States Federal or State government have the right to tell two consenting individuals that they are not allowed to get married? And if your whole hang up on the the thing is the word "marriage" then let's call it a "legal civil union". I understand that people's religious views may ban or look down on same sex relationships or consider it immoral, but the fact of the matter is that it comes down to legalities. People make a fuss about religion in the Pledge of Allegiance, about the separation of Church and State, but that all seems to go down the drains when it comes to granting a person their legal rights. To me it's a form of discrimination, inequality and last time I thought this was the United States, the melting pot, home of the FREE and land of the brave. Or am I wrong?
