Do people in Kenya wear Veils?

This is for an English project that I am doing were I was assigned a country and need to research on the people who wear Veils and why do they wear it. Who wears the Veils? Is it a religious thing? How is it connected to politics? What do they think of it? I've tried researching on my own already, but I haven't been able to find much information. If you could share with me just a little fact or anything at all that is related it would help a lot.

Veils are mostly worn by the Muslims, though there is a religious group (the Akorino) that wears head coverings though I dont know if that would count as a veil
