i realized most of the homophobes have some kind of homosexual tendencies. like last month i saw this kid from my high school who always used to pick on this gay kid and he was with a transexual.

Repiblicans are against gay marriage. But they don't seem to be against gay prostitutes.

With the separation of Church and State, it doesn't matter what is in the bible, only what's in the constitution. While I disagree with your stance on homosexuals, I do agree that alcohol is more dangerous to people. Drunk behavior tends to be a lot more dangerous than stoned behavior. I see no reason for pot to be illegal but I don't see any president making a point of changing it.

Unfortunately, in the US the 'separation of church and state' seems to have failed. Both Republicans and Democrats fall all over themselves to please the Christians. Believing in ghost stories is no way to run a country. And which ghost stories is the government going to follow: the Mormon ones, the Muslim ones, the Catholic ones (and which Catholic, Roman, Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox) blah blah Why does the US have such big problems with Iran and Pakistan? Because like the US they are theocracies i.e. government by religion. US=FAIL

Here's an idea: screw the Bible! Screw using that as a basis for what a civilized society should look like! It is an ancient book of fairytales and total nonsense, with morals that are completely repugnant. Why the hell should we use that as a guideline for ANYTHING? Also: in the US, there's this convenient little thing called separation of church and state.

If you want to legalize everything in the Bible; then here's what else you want legalized: - Pedophilia - Rape - Child Murder - Slavery - Homophobia - Xenophobia - Sexism And are you THAT ignorant to ignore the fact that it's illegal to be gay in many parts of the world; and it's so extreme to the point where people are still being legally executed for it because their religion says its bad? And you do know that if a republican wins the election; gay people will have little to no rights in this country, right? And I'm sure most republicans are against the legalization of marijuana and against ending the war on drugs.

Actually the parts of the bible that say that are misinterpreted. Two of the passages are actually mistranslated. Then there's the fact that first-world nations have worked pretty hard to not base all their laws on ONE religion. So...... why should they base it on your book?

So I'm understanding that you feel pot should be legalized, but you are not a proponent of equality. What a wonderfully clear example you gave us of why we should legalize the very drug that is making you come off as an incoherent chimpanzee banging on a keyboard. Have a nice day!
