Discrimination against gays?

Sadly, the very people who believe in "love, equality, and leading a godly life" are the first ones to cast stones. These people have no mind of their own, but are like sheep, easily led down paths of sin and evil. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" is a motto I have lived with. It serves me well. I have never met a right winged Christian who leads a life of righteousnous...the very holier than others is a sin in itself. I prefer my life...nonjudgemental of others. I was born Gay, knowing I was different at age 4. I have revelled in the fact, never feeling inferior to others, but instead, using my "difference" of the good of myself and others...along the way, I have never intended to hurt others. I have failed at times, but always try to "atone" for the accidental messes I have made along the way. And to be honest, there have been times I have treated these Right Winged "lunatics" without kindness, but I do realize it later and try to make it right. I wish you love and peace in life. i agree with you. i think christians discriminate them because they consider it a sin and to them , what god says goes. this however, makes god a hypocrite as if he is real, he made gays this way. christians are also hypocrites as by reinforcing the rules that gays are wrong they are breaking a rule by judging. i know its ****, but you'll never reason with the unreasonable. personally, the thing i find the most strange is that people are concerned about who other people have sex with in this first place. if they're not having sex with you who cares?

Gays aren't being discriminated against. They have the exact same opportunity that everyone else has. I would urge you to find one example of gays being discriminated against by Christians. Homosexuality is something that can be changed. There are many ex homosexuals. That wouldn't be possible if it were something one was born with.

ok i dont understand why there is such a debate over whether it is a choice or not who cares even if it is a choice? its not hurting one.. it doesnt have a negative effect on anyone else's lives.. so why does every make it sound like IF it was a choice it would be such a bad thing. anyway for the record i think its something you are born with.. i know i would never have chosen to be gay if i did get the choice

Even you born with it or it is your choice people should not treat differently, it s wrong to discriminate, independent from reason. It is nobody's business. Thinking that in 32 years of life I could not have a good friend at all, I m somehow jealous about gay males friendship. It s not wrong. More, there are no person or association to define it "wrong".

Those who say that they are prejudiced due to their faith are exploiting that faith by cherry-picking certain words in order to justify their own bigotry and putting their own prejudice ahead of loving their neighbor as they do themselves; and being gay had been repeatedly shown to not be a choice.

i CHOOSE not to lie to myself and be repressed. I was born gay and like i said, choose not to play it straight just because others would perfer it.

Please tell me exactly how gays are being discriminated against? Are you referring to the fact that transsexuals and cross-dressers are not allowed to teach in public schools? Or are you referring to the fact that the welcome wagon hasn't been rolled out for gays or are you feeling repressed due to that fact that no one took the time to show their appreciation of your individuality with a fireworks display? I'm sorry but I don't know how Christians are discriminating against gays. And being as how gay is so wholesome and decent why in the world doesn't everyone love and appreciate gays? Perhaps Bruno knows the answer to that brain teaser. And yes being gay is a choice rather than something you're born with. Gays embrace that excuse in an effort to avoid personal responsibility for their actions. By "gay" reasoning ever deviant that has an impulse is born with it and there's no reason to resist an unnatural urge... just do what feels good and damn the consequences.

true people discriminate bi gay lesbian transexual people and think thats a sin when in my opinion its not cause it makes no diffrence who you are with god made each one of us different love comes in different colors genders sizes etc it doesnt matter but everyone has their point of view but to me its not a sin and i dont ahave a problem with bi gay lesbian people . i have a friend who thinks its a sin and i try explaining it to him but hhe wont listen.
