Is there discrimination against gays in singapore?

Is it discrimination against gays, or against cliche manifistations of being gay?

• ok first of all i support 100%: marraige equality, open military service, ect; So there's been a lot of dialogue lately about bullying/discrimination against homosexuals, and rightly so, but something always seemed off to me. When a gay person is bullied or made fun of, is it really strictly because of their sexual orientation, or because they present themselves in a (for lack of better term) "swishy" way; by that I mean the stereotypical gay male, we all know the image. In other words, would a gay person be as likely to incur bullying if he simply didn't act in a feminine way? It seems as though being made fun of for being "flaming" is not totally surprising or controversial; of course, there are those who would kick the sht out of someone gay regardless of how they behave, but if you're gay and having bully issues (and i feel for you, it fcking sucks), maybe reflect upon whether its about manner of speech, dress, ect rather than simply being homosexual. And I know, we should speak, dress, how we choose, but where does it say that gays must adhere to the 'swishy' physical stereotype anyway; isn't that kind of closeminded too? Complex issue i guess; too bad we can't just all agree to be fcking nice to each other

  People don't hate them because they're feminine, they hate them because they're gay.. Being attracted to the same sex doesn't seem right to so much of society, simply because they don't understand it, but gay people don't understand how straight people are attracted texcepts sme sex, why is this such a big deal for society though I wonder :3 That has always been a good target for people who even go through bullying themselves, because it's really something which a lot of society frowns upon, and that is a note which is passed on through each generation, and it's very much alive in this generation, and it will be for ones to come. We're lucky to have ones like you who support us though(:
