Why don't I have an information bar?

Gay in south beach , miami , florida ? ? . . . information pleace...?

  • Im 15 years old ( i looks like someone who have 16 or 17 ) and i traveled to miami in winter , i will come back to miami for 1 weeak in 1 moth and im gay ... , when i was in miami i saw one gay bar in south beach ... i want to meet someone like my , in my school nobody is gay , and i want to know more information about how the gays places works in south beach .. , im 15 so , can i go to one gay bar or something like than in south beach ? thanks a lot ! .. ( sorry for my english ) in my contrie allmost everybdy hate so much the gay people .. but here are a lots but nobody know it thansk a lot ! !! =) sorry if you dont understand someting

Do some research on the internet, there should be information for gay teens in south florida. Your best bet would be to go to this blog and ask him your question. The fellow writes a gay column for the big Miami newspaper and probably would welcome the challenge of finding the answers for you. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/gaysouthflorida/ There's a link in the top left corner for asking Steve questions.

There's a ton of gay people in South Beach. I've been hit on by MEN when I was there, and was disgusted by it. They tend to concentrate between the two gay (rainbow striped) flags on the beach. You cannot get into any bars legally.

Unfortunately, you must be 21 in order to enter an establishment serving alcohol without parental escort. So the gay bars would be off limits to you. You may want to contact an organization dedicated to gay and questioning youth to see if you can attend any of their events during your visit. Check the link...
