Will DVI-I work in a DVI-D port?

Minecraft server port forwarding will not work?

• so i have a server all set up and i can access it on the computer that is hosting it but no other computers so i tried to port forward it to my router to get it to work because i am connected t the internet with wifi. my router is a cisco linksys2500 its ip is 192.168.1.1 and so when i port forward it I enter in the information... external port- 25565 internal port- 25565 protocol- both to ip address- 192.168.1._ (ports available 1-254) it doesn't matter what i put for the last bit of the ip cause it never works. on portforward.com it says put in 192.168.1.1 but that just comes up with the error "You can't use the Router's IP, network or broadcast address." Can someone please help me with this, i will even give you unlimited everything if you join my server if you want, just please help.

  figure out what the ip address of the server is. that's where you get that last number.
