How to wire 2 dvc subs to mono amp?

How do I wire 2 DVC subs at 4 ohms ea into a 2 ohm amp?

• I mostly just want some verification on something. From my understanding, if I wire two DVC subs that are 4 ohms each to 1 ohm each, then hook them up to a 600w rms x1 at 2 ohms amp, they would be putting out 300w in each amp right? Or am I misunderstanding how the wiring thing works. I have been over many diagrams and I think per sub I can only do 4ohm or 1 ohm so two of those would be 2 ohm resistance. Idk it sounds like a dumb question but I don't want to mess anything up.. ya know?

  STOP!!!!! a pair of dvc 4 ohm subs can only represent a 1 or 4 ohm load. check the diagram here http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42. in order to represent a 2 ohm load you would need a pair of subs that are dual 2 ohm. check here http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=22 you can also go with a single sub ( dual 4 ohm ), and represent a 2 ohm load. check here http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=1&I=42 if your amp is not 1ohm stable...
