How to stop car speaker static?

Car speaker problem. Speakers get quiet stop working ect. Stock 97 civic with keyless entry?

  • Hello. I have been having a problem with my speakers in my 97 honda civic with keyless entry. When driving around the speakers randomly get very quiet or loud or the speakers on the left side of the car only works or vice versa ect. Does anyone have a guess what this might be? Is it a short or bad ground wire or juat because of old age? It seems to be affected when I hit a bump or take a corner sharp. Then the speakers do the loud/quiet thing. Any help is greatly appericated. Thank you.

  • Answer:

i would say its the radio from the way your explaining it its the only thing that controls all the speakers i be its just old or something is lose inside start with the ground for the radio...other than that its hard to say without being able to look at and poke around good luck and hope this helps
