Quantum audio cosmic amps?

Car audio amps are not getting power?

• I bought two amps from crutchfield, a mono amp to power my sub, and a. 4 channel to handle the components. Neither are too powerful, I believe a 450w for the sub and a 65w x 4. Had everything hooked up and it ran fine for a solid month or so. The first really hot day of the summer was 90+ degrees and as I was driving home from work my sound cut out. Upon checking the amps they were super hot. (I have them mounted in my trunk). I called crutchfield where I got them and they said its very unlikely that both amps would overheat and fry internally, since they both have thermal shutoffs. I checked all of my connections and fuses and everything seems fine. Any idea as to what I should be looking for? I'm new to the car audio thing and appreciate any advice. I'm hoping the tempuature is just a coincidence and that the amps aren't fried.

  Make sure the ground wires didn't come loose. If it did then neither amp would be recieving any power. I find highly unlikely that both of the grounds came undone though.
