How does PayPal work and how much does it cost?

My car was short circuited. the radio wont work. checked all fuses. how to fix? how much could this cost?

  • my car was short circuited, i think, after a wire hit some metal during a radio install. the fuse was blown when we first checked, we replaced it but still isnt working. we put the old radio back in and doesnt work. the clock below the radio does not work. everything else works. what is the next step? how much would something like this cost to fix at a dealership. 2003 rav4

  • Answer:

It'll be a pretty simple fix. I wouldn't bring it to a dealership to have repaired though. Stop in at any car audio installation shop. Worst case scenario, the installer would have to run two fused wires coming off the ignition harness to the radio harness. Sounds like you cut off the factory harness. I'd guess a shop would charge around $100 to clean up the mess, and have the radio correctly installed.
