Can car radios overheat and not work anymore?
-
Ok, so i was listening to my CD player that is part of the radio system in my car while i was driving. It had been doing just fine for about 2 1/2 hours and then all the sudden the player spit the disc out. I pulled it out and immediatly dropped the disc because it was to hot to even touch, As was the face of the radio. I tried to CD again the next day after i was sure it had cooled off, and it still won't play anything. Myt question is: Is it possible to burn up your Radio/Tape/ CD player in your car? And if not, then what is wrong with my player. Thanks.

Answer:
It sounds like your radio / played failed; you're lucky it ejected the CD. I'm sure that the failure had nothing to do with the fact that you were using it. Sorry to hear of your misfortune.
