How do I change speaker size in my car?

Help with car speaker size?

  • My car's stock speaker size is 6 3/4 but I bought 6 1/2 speakers and they are just a bit too big. Is there a bracket adapter of some sort that I can use to make them fit? Helpful answers are much appreciated. ;D

    What kind of car is it? Sometimes you can cut around it, but of course not in a new car. Take them back to the store or where did you bought them at?.......STOLEN....hmmmmmm

Hm ... It should be impossible for a 6 1/2" speaker to be too big for a 6 3/4" opening unless you are talking depth. If you are talking depth, there are spacer rings you can get to make the speaker stand out a little more.
