What is a good amp for my two 10 inch pioneer?

4 -10 inch pioneer sub woofers?

  • front 6 by 9 speakers - pioneer rear 4 by 6 speakers - pioneer Pioneer - tweeters and two decent amps my question is, can one amp support 4- 10 inch sub woofers and will it pound hard?

  • Answer:

i assume these subs are 4 ohm subs? if so you will need an amp that is 1 ohm stable. try MTX or rockford fosgate. you will wire all 4 positive leads together along with all 4 negative leads. giving you one positive and one negative lead. this is called parallel wiring. an amp with at least 1000 watts at 1 ohm will be needed. i had 4 12" fosgate subs hooked to a hifonics brutus amp running 1 ohm and hit in the 150's. very loud!!
