How to install speakers?

I have a 2001 Cadillac Eldorado ESC with the stock stereo system and speakers how can i install new speakers?

I want to install some alpine Type R 6x9 and 6.5 in the car, i have the stock stereo (not the upgraded Bose stereo and speakers), some guy told me that my car has a built in amp and that it needs to be rewired so i can install the speakers. do i need to rewire it or can i just plug and play them?
Answer:

All you need is the speaker mating harness if you don't want to cut the harness. The mating harness is just like factory radio harness adapter but for the speakers. The Metra part number would be 72-4568. I would confirm the plug cause I have ran into cars with other connectors. For example, I had a 94 Infiniti G20 take a 95 Nissan harness for the head unit so always confirm your connectors and harnesses.
