Burnt Cds wont work in standard cd player in my car? Burnt on itunes?

  • I used a cheap brand which was..."memorex" and tried it out in the standard cd player of 2004 bmw x3 and said cd error so i tried it in 2005 barina and didnt work so i put it down to cheap disks (because i always play burnt cds in these 2 cars) so i bought some "TDK" disks and same prob I tried the memorex one in my bros non standard player and it worked :S but then non standard cd player of my friends 1994 barina didnt work So is there a setting i should change? im burning them in itunes Thanks :)

  • Answer:

I think your burnt cd is mp3 cd, and your car cd player is standard cd player which don't support mp3, so the burnt mp3 CD can't be played on your car, you should try burn a standard Audio CD from your musics, then try play the Audio CD on your car cd player again, burn CD from any movies or musics, you can try RZ Audio Converter, it can convert and burn any musics or movies to Audio CD, or MP3 CD, etc. Of course if your car CD player support mp3, i think mp3 CD is the better choice than Audio CD. You can yahoo or google search and download RZ Audio Converter, easy to use, hope it can help you.

Are you using cd +r or cd -r? See what type you have and try the other. Some CD players prefer one or the other. Also rewrite-able cd's tend to be problematic in some cd players.
