What kind of amplifier do i need?
-
I have two Alpine SPR-17s component speakers (giving me a total of 4 woofers and 4 tweeters). The head unit I'm going to install (Alpine CDA-9886) delivers 50w to 4 channels. I'm no audio junkie but I know that means the speakers won't even come close to the capacity they can handle. My question is, what kind of amplifier will get each of those speakers up into the 250w range, so that they are 80w short of they're full capacity (so my sister doesn't destroy yet another set of my speakers)? I'm looking at the Alpine MRP-F600 (Hey, i love alpine, what can i say? =P) but is that the one to do the job?

Answer:
That amp your looking at would be fine but has a pretty big price tag but if you have the money should do great
