Can someone help me with my car audio system?

Please someone help me with speakers for my car stereo system!?

  • I'm trying to search around for some cheapish secondhand equipment for a sound system i want to put in my car but i dont know how it all goes together, i'm thinking one 12" Subwoofer and two 6x9 speakers, but now what should i look for when there's like 500 watt sub or 700 watt sub and all that stuff.. i want crisp bass and good clarity from the speakers.. does more watts improve quality or what? and how do you match the amp with the power required from the speakers.. maybe i should leave it to professionals? let me know what you think people!

    Well the 1st ? is how much are you willing to spend? I have Alpine 6in in the truck Doors powered by a 4 channel Alpine amp and used to have a Kicker Solobaric L7 12in powered by a lanzar Viberant 266 and i could turn up the volume to max on my JVC deck and crystal clear sound.
