Putting my car audio system together need help choosing a subwoofer?

  • What I have- 1. Pioneer DEH-P6200BT Head Unit Power Output: Peak: 50 watts x 4 channels RMS: 22 watts x 4 channels (Pioneer Certified) RMS: 14 watts x 4 channels (CEA Certified) 3 Sets of 4V preamp outputs 2. Pioneer TSD1602R Speakers Front and Rear Peak: 520 watts per pair / 260 watts each RMS: 120 watts per pair /60 watts each 4 ohms impedance What i don't have yet- Alpine PDX-5 Amplifier RMS Power Rating: 4 ohms: 75 watts x 4 chan. + 300 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 75 watts x 4 chan. + 300 watts x 1 chan. Bridged, 4 ohms: 150 watts x 2 chan. + 300 watts x 1 chan. Do these all fit together so far ? Subwoofer wise I want something that will produce clean and crisp sound.

    with the amp sounds good for for front and back outputs for sub output i would get a good monochannel sw amp kicker zx amps are good,for subs again i like kicker. how your subs sound mostly depends on the size and type of enclosure you have them in a sealed box at the minimum volume for the sub you buy will give you the sound your looking for.

This amp will power your whole system I would get 1 nice sub. I like Digital Designs (DD Audio). Check 2 make sure the amp will run @ 2ohm or only 4 before you buy a sub first. I made that mistake before at buying the amps first before getting the subs and had to sell both of the amps. Now I have a Rockford Fosgate T 10001bd Power amp for my 2 Digital Designs 1512s and a Rockford Fostgate 300.4 for my Pioneer Premier components sets. Kicker amps will not drop to 1ohm. Rockford Fostgate Power series amps will drop to a 1ohm load. Another this is how much you want to spend.
