What subwoofer should I buy?

Wanting to buy a subwoofer for my car, what else do i need to buy? and whats good?

  • i drive a mercedes benz C240 and i dont know anything about subs except that the bass will get better, what else would i need to buy when i buy a sub and is it worth it? thanks!

    Systems are always worth it if you get the right stuff!! Look into MTX, alpine, rockford fosgate, JL, kicker Buy a sub then buy an amp that matches the subs RMS (for example) if yer sub is 400 RMS get an amp that is 400 RMS.

well youll need the sub (obviously) and an amp with enough output watts tyo run your sub...and a speaker box. speaker cables, wire for the remote power on the back of your stereo, and a heavy gauge power line to go from your amp to your vehicles battery. to me, a lot of work for no reason. im actuallly getting rid of mine because its pointless.
