Installing a iPod player in a car?

Playing my iPod in my car with no Aux or Casette Player, Only CD player?

  • Yes, I've seen this asked elsewhere but all answers were 2+ years old and..well, we know what happens with technology. Anyways, I drive a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix with the factory system- CD player only. What can I do to use my iPod in my car? I know the FM transmitters exist but have heard nothing but negative feedback. I also need something relatively simple. I don't want to go ripping out the stereo because I would have no idea what to do from there. Thanks!

  • Answer:

I've nothing but good about FM transmitters! Amazon.com has a great selection of well priced, high quality FM transmitters you can use in any car with a radio. I have one and even living in a metro area with totally crowded radio waves, it works great. Try to find something in the $20-$40 range, or else you'll be paying too much or getting a crappy product. I think I paid $39.99 for mine on amazon (with free shipping!)
