What type of sound system should I get?

  • I have a 2004 Explorer Sport Trac and there does not seem to be much room in my truck to put an amp and a 12" sub that I'm looking for. I'm thinking about getting a 12" Shallow Sub to put behind my backseats put I dont know if that would display a good bass which im looking for.

    don't know much about ford trucks cuz im not a fan of ford but most trucks with sound systems have them on the back under the seats thats if you have an extended cab but i mean if its just 2 seats the you can probably still put them on your back seat i think jbl and mtx make some subs that are thin and still pack tons of bass so you don't need a big box but they are expensive but you do get good bass

well...most ppl that i know that have trucks have their subwoofers under their back seats..i dont know how much room u have in your truck for that but you could always get a box behind your seats in the bed of the truck i think.. idk maybe if a 12'' wouldn't fit under your back seats you could look into 2 10'' that work just as well as that 12'' or just 1 10'' that puts out just as well as a 12'' just some ideas
