I need solid reliable power in my car to power a PC and a cooler...?

I'm going into the woods to record a folk album and I need to be able to run a PC while I'm there. What is the best way to do this. I've thought about putting in an extra battery, hooking it to my alternator, and running a power invertor off of it... any suggestions. I need constant power.

The best solution is a generator. The car solution is depending on the wattage or amps needed to run the cooler and the pc. Most laptops draw 90-100 watts. The cooler is depending on size and such. A simple cooler should draw about 200-300 watts for a small one. If you go with the car solution, I would get an inverter with battery clamps or direct wired to the battery.
