Installing In-dash DVD/CD player in a car?
-
I have a car which has the original stereo in it and has not yet had an aftermarket in-dash DVD/CD player installed yet. What else am I going to need to install the DVD/CD player in my dash in addition to the player itself. Am I going to need a wiring kit, or a mounting kit, or both or can I install it without them? Please explain. Thanks.

Well it depends on your car model. For some, you need a mounting kit/adapter (especially for double sized American radio replacement), but no special wiring kit is needed.
