Why won't my speakers work?

Why wont' my car speakers/stereo work? speakers busted?

  • I have a '93 Honda. with front/side & back speakers & two '12 subs in the back. along with an amp & diffibulizer. Several weeks ago the subs starting going out & after 1day of fading in&out they completly went out. the amp seems find, & it still turns on. Could it just be a bad connection? ground? Well the speakers in the car continued working & i could still listen to music. But yesterday i left the lights on & as my car battery began to die the battery fuse busted. I installed a new battery fuse & jumpstarted the battery. The car turned on, i turned on my stereo but there was no sound. There is no sound whether i'm listening to the radio, aux, or cd. I installed a new stereo & still the same result. So does this mean that my speakers are busted??

  • Answer:

dude is a 93 honda, now is like 2011, over 10 years. is possible the connection is gone bad in your car, or something wrong with the dash board all that. First you need check all of the fusing, than check the wiring, maybe you need to take the stereo out and reinstill it all that. I don't know possible do to speakers busted. Car stereo anything could happen.
