Car Cd Player Wires to Speakers Installation and hook up Help!!?

• ok i have a car fm/am radio and cd player that i am trying to put in my car. its an older car so it has 3 speakers, and i know that the cd player has wires for 4 speakers so im trying to figure out how i hook it up right i know how to hook the back speakers up because theres a speaker on each side in the back, but then theres just a speaker in the middle of the car in the front dash area. Thanks for all help.

  The problem is that to do it right you need 4 speakers, heres why. First off, the stereo will work with 2 speakers just fine but its not designed to run 1 or 3, so leaving one channel unhooked often causes sort of an unbalance that will slowly kill the stereo. Plus, if you do hook up just 3, you will only be able to get left or right channel signal to the front speaker,, which will sound stupid. The solution depends on your car. They may have "kick panel" speaker enclosuers for your car, check out crutchfield to see if they make em n then look around for "wholesale audio" stores online that might have em for 1/2 off. then you can just get a cheap pair of speakers to stick in em n I'm sure u can handle runing two speaker wires to them and screwing them in. If this isnt an option because they dont make aftermarket speaker enclosures for your car(or you just cant afford speakers and enclosures), just hook up the back channels for now, tape off the remaining channels individually with electrical tape, and set the fade all the way to the rear. Another solution would be to get some speakers and sorta rig up your own speaker enclosures.
