How to install a switch in my car?

• I just installed a car subwoofer system and i want to install a switch in the Remote wire going to the amplifier in the trunk.This wire is used to send a signal through a wire from the headunit which tells the amp to turn on or turn off On youtube i saw someone use a switch in this wire so he can shut off the amp or turn it on. I bought this switch from radioshack: http://www.ongoingresults.com/exinv/SW-2POS%20%20Automotive%20switch.jpg and it has 3 connections 1ground 2Acc 3(+). Iam confused how to do this becuase this is one wire rather then 2 or 3 and i just want to have the ability to turn off and on the connection just like a light switch in a home can some one tell me how to do this.

  Put the sensing wire on the middle post of the switch and a wire to the power on the other post on the switch. It can turn on the power when you flip the handle toward the outer post that your power wire is connected to. You don't need the other outer post. Just remember which way to flip the switch when you turn the amp on. Middle is off, toward the pole with the power wire is "on". When you flip it toward the other post nothing will happen.
