Does audiopipe make good subs?

Would a bigger amp really make my subs that different?

  • I have 2 12" Digital Design subs powering off a 250 watt amp, and I know that each sub needs atleast 25 watts for itself ... they sound like total **** ... I can't even bare to listen to them because they are so shitty sounding. The guys at bestbuy told me that the subs were great, worked fine ... But, would buying a 500 watt or bigger amp really make that much of a difference? or will they still sound bad? I don't know much about this stuff at all ...

  • Answer:

Digital design manufactures possibly the best subwoofer on the earth, and all their subwoofers, even the crappy lower end ones (like the one you've got) are still made from good materials, so yes, get a 500 watt RMS monoblock and wire your subs to 1/2 ohms depending what voice coil they are... or you can simply sell one of your subwoofers and keep one on that 250watt amplifier which would sound better
