How much should i charge to install a car stereo?? (CD player/wiring harness)?

  • installing CD deck/wiring harness into a pickup truck (he just wants to listen to his Cd's) how much would a car audio place usually charge or if someone could give me the street install price to do something like this as i dnt want to cheat this guy or get cheated either

    A shop in my area who has been installing for years charges, $25 for a 1-Din stereo if you buy it from them, $35 if it was bought from another place. 2-Din stereos are $45 and navigation/dvd are $50 + for an install. So I would charge $25, ask them what they are willing to pay first. =)

Install shops charge around 40$-65$ it only takes 1/2 hr to do so charge 50$ hope this helps
