How to get the paper out of a cd player?

My CD is stuck in my truck CD player. How do I get it out?

  • I have a 2005 Ford Escape & one of my favorite CD's is stuck in the player. The CD will play whenever I switch from radio to CD, but every time I press the eject button, the screen flashes "eject error". Without pulling my whole dashboard apart, how do I get the CD out? Thanks for your help!

This is going to be easy, Simply insert a paper clip into it while it playing then press the "eject" button and it should work, It worked for me

Turn off the player. Just below the tray, you will see a small hole. With the aid of a paper clip, straighten one end and insert it to the hole. With a gentle force, try to push it inward and the tray should come out.

the cd player in my ute does this sometimes. If it's got a removable front, pull it off and see if you can grasp the cd. The other thing I discovered by accident is if you try and put another cd in, they will both eject. The same principal as the paper clip. I'd probably try the paper clip first.
