What are good subwoofers and how do you put them in?

I can't decide what kind of subwoofers i should put in my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500.?

  • I want to give my truck some better sounds and i cannot decide on what kind of subs i should put in because i have such limited space in the cab. It's an ext cab but really the only place i could put one is under the back seat and I do not want to buy a vehicle specific sub box because if i get a new car i want to be able to put the sub in the new car.

    rockford fosgate has some amazing subs. they now have shallow mounts that you could get and could easily put in any vehicle. i had p3 subs from rockford that hit hard, i had to take them out cause my rearview mirror wasnt staying put.
