Subs and Amp for a car?

Suggestions for car subs / amp ?

  • I am looking to add subs / amp to my car . I am currently looking at two 12 inch dual subs with a 2000 watt Pyle amp . What do you think about these ? and what are your suggestions on subs i should get ? Moneys not a huge issue but they need to be in reason .

  • Answer:

I'd really recommend a little more research before you part with your cash, especially for the Pyle amp. A "2,000 watt" Pyle amp might be able to deliver 200 watts RMS on a good day, going downhill, with a tailwind. And Dual subs aren't much of a bargain either. Here's a decent entry-level 12" sub package complete with amp and enclosure. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_21675_MTX-TNP212D2.html This combo is a step up from entry-level with a pair of Kicker CVR subs and a Rockford-Fosgate amp. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_29636_1600W-Complete-Rockford-Fosgate-Kicker-Bass-Package.html
