What is the best HD Radio Head Unit?

Recently installed new head unit, subwoofer and amp now clock and radio stay on when car is off!?

  • Hi, I recently installed a subwoofer, amp, and an aftermarket head unit in my 1990 toyota supra. I had a different aftermarket head unit before i installed this one. But I had my friend hook them up for me, and now when the car is off, the radio stays on as well as my dash clock! I know its gotta be wired wrong, but anyone have any ideas? I'm guessing he connected the head unit wires wrong and thats causing it to stay on as well as the clock. If anyone can help please and thank you.

    If you don't know car audio very well you should had your friend switch the decks :/ Its probably your remote wire, if the amp is not even coming on that's the problem.

One thing you can do is ask your friend to recheck what he did or take it to a professional to check it out... If I'm not mistaken, it sounds like your friend accidentally connected a constant hot wire to your stereo and the dash clock at the same time... Meaning there's a wire in your car that always has power going through it even to it's off...
