Car speakers what amp to use?

i have a set of pioneer 240 watt 3 ways 40 rms in my front doors 300 watt 4 ways in my back with 60 rms and 460 watt 5 ways 80 rms in my back dash im going to be running the front off my deck and the back 2 sets off an amp my question is how big an amp am i looking for? and wich amperage does the amp go by? such as a 300 watt pyramid amp 4 channel..is that rms wattage based meaning im getting all of my 300 watt speakers and most of my 460 watts?or is it saying im only gettin 75 watts max outta my 300/460 watt availability? also what times do the reg max wattage apply and when do u base something on the rms wattage? thanks to all those who understand my question lol:-)
