What is the best amp for two pioneer ts-w303r subs?

I have 1000 watt, class D mono Amp(Audio Sundown).Two new 12' kicker CVR Subs, and a Pioneer 6800 deck.?

  • Everytime i turn up volume past 30 (it goes to 50 or higher),or play a song wit alot of bass it goes into protection mode.only used the amp one summer, so its like new. Subs 800 max, 400 rms and wired down to 1ohm. I also turned the gain all the way down same thing happen.

    Could be a few things. 1. Your using a bad ground. 2. Your amp is drawing too much power and you need to buy a better alternator/battery or a capicitor. 3. Your using power/ground wires that arent hefty enough for the power going through them. Obviously I'd try the least expensive fix's first.

the amp cant perform at the load the subs are giving it. you need to rewire the subs to 2ohm most likely.
