How to wire an amp in a car without a deck?

Do I need an another amp for my regular car speakers?

  • i currently have a 1000 watt amp for my 2 12s, its working fine and everything. i want to get another amp for the regular car speakers and i dont kno what i should buy. my car has 2 door panel speakers, 2 tweeters on the door, and 2 rear deck speakers. i think i need a 4 channel amp to power the regular speakers. a couple questions i have are..... will i need to buy an upgraded alternator? how will i hook the regular speaker wire to the amp and then to the head unit? (i kno i need new speaker wires but how will i hook them up to the adapter in the back side of the headunit) My head unit only has one in and one out for the RCA cables so how will i plug the RCA cables from the new amp to the headunit? Any help would be appreciated
