What kind of amp should I get for my subs?

What kind of subs can I get that will work with this amp?

• Hi- I have a jensen 600w amp in my car. I have 8 inch subs that are in a box hooked into it. The subs are older and I thought they would get by, but Im thinking eventually their gonna have to be replaced. I think their 500w a piece too. I was just wondering what would give good bass and how high on watts can I go with a 600 w amp? I have no clue about this stuff. I just want something that gives bass. What I have does, but it doesn't sound the greatest at times. Sometimes I cant even hear it. I have my ipod hooked up to the stereo and that's what i usually play. Some songs sound awesome and some not so much. Maybe its just the songs. I was looking at these 1300w and was just wondering if they would work. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

  Well is the amp 600 watts rms or 600 watts peak? If its 600 watts peak, you could go with 2 Memphis 8" subwoofers like these: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_10408_Memphis+15-MS84.html They are only 200 watts max so you would be giving them more power but its a good brand so they should be able to take it, just dont push them too hard.
