Is my factory car stereo enough for subs?
-
im planning to buy some subs and i have a bose amp. i still have the factory car stereo of my 2001 isuzu trooper. do i need to get a new car stereo?

Answer:
You need to consult the details on your stack stereo. You can't get better in the end , than what you start with. If it has full fidelity- 40-16,000 Hz, the amp and sub should present an excellent improvement. If the output of the head unit is weak on the bottom end, such as 50Hz or 60Hz, the sub and amp will not do much to improve the bass response that is already missing. Try out what you have. If it's weak, replace it.
