What are good subwoofers and how do you put them in?

What size Subwoofers and the best place to put them.?

  • Ok i have a Toyota Avalon and i was thinking of getting either two 12" or two 10" Orion subwoofers in the trunk of the car. its a really big trunk so what would be better and where could i face them?

  • Answer:

    ideally you want the ports or vent facing the rear bumper so that the bass bounces back towards the front. but to put bass into an avalon is a horrible idea.

id get two of the tens because 10 inch subs hit alot harder then 12s do and if ita a 4 door put them agains the backseat in the trunck and face them towarsthe front of the trunk

ported or sealed, face them about 5-8inches from the back of the truck bumper make sure the box doesnt move either, 2 12's ported
