Car CD player wont work.......?
-
I have a Sony Xplod car radio and my CD player doesn't work. When I put a CD in, it reads it and it shows that it's playing, but there's no sound. But I get sound when I listen to the radio. Anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

Answer:
I have a Sony Xplod. Great radio. If your CD's play in other radios or on your PC then the stereo must be bad and will need to be repaired. I haven't played a CD in mine for a long time, I just plug my ipod into the auxiliary port on the front and use that for my music.

Do what RJ says and if it is defective see if you still have the warranty for it and get it switched out. If it is defective it's most likely the lens that reads the disc that's bad. Good luck
try other cd's. if you know the cd isn't the problem, then you need a new stereo because yours is defective
